In their preface, the authors promise a book with useful, real-world examples of how to develop evaluation designs and apply the findings. They also promise a broad and deep review of available resources as well as an analysis of the findings from a study on advocacy and policy change (APC). They deliver on these promises in a book that, while not a page-turner, would be a helpful resource for the staff of any organization involved in APC.
